1. Age and Occupation?

I’m 23 and a student

  1. How long have you been doing CrossFit?

Just over 6 months

  1. Why do you CrossFit?

I originally began doing CrossFit to get back in shape since I no longer was playing college sports.  But I continue to go because I feel great during and after the workouts.

  1. What is your favorite movement?

My favorite movement is power cleans.  This was one of the first movements I felt really good about and I love doing them.

  1. What is your least favorite movement?

I think my least favorite movement is doing push-ups.  I’m still doing push-ups on my knees so I feel as if I’m struggling to improve on them, which of course means I don’t love them.

  1. Do you follow a particular diet to fuel your training? Favorite foods?

As of right now I don’t have any kind of particular diet, but I’m looking to change that!  I’ve been trying to change some of my eating habits and make nutrition a larger part of my life, which would hopefully help fuel my training.

  1. What are your short-term goals?

One of my short-term goals is to continue to improve my body movements when doing the different barbell exercises.  I think it’s important to perfect these movements to not only prevent injury, but to get the most I can out of the movement.

  1. What are your long-term goals?

My long-term goal is to be able to do a pull-up.  I’ve never had the best upper body strength, and while it’s been improving, I think it’ll take a lot more work to be able to do a strict pull-up!  This has been a goal of mine even before I began CrossFit because I’ve never been able to do one.

  1. What is your biggest achievement at CFB?

I think my biggest achievement was being able to do double unders.  I’ve never been a big jump roper so I was pretty proud of myself that I was able to do double unders so quickly.

  1. If there was a WOD named after you, what would it be?

Can I just name one Rebecca and have it become one of the Girls of CrossFit workouts? Probably not yet but I’ll keep working.
