1. Age and Occupation?

37 – work in Supply Chain Management.

  1. How long have you been doing CrossFit?

Right around seven months – started at CFB towards the end of August 2016.

  1. Why do you CrossFit?

Decided to really focus on living a healthy lifestyle and being active in 2015 – was looking for something a little different than the usual gym routines of lifting weights for 45 min and 15 min on a treadmill which brought me to CFB.  Quickly became a fan of the programming and the intensity of the cardio that was planned out for me – all I have to do is show up, makes it easy.

  1. What is your favorite movement?

Oly classes have turned me into a fan of the clean and jerk.

  1. What is your least favorite movement?

While I’m ok with power snatches I still despise the meaner version with squat included.

  1. Do you follow a particular diet to fuel your training? Favorite foods?

Not really – I try to eat clean majority of the time.  I’m a creature of habit so I eat pretty much the same thing Sun-Thurs and allow myself to stray a little bit Fri & Sat.  Favorite foods/weaknesses are any sort of Mexican food and anything that combines chocolate and peanut butter.

  1. What are your short-term goals?

Get myself away from scaling movements I’ve somewhat avoided to date – double-unders and toes-to-bar come to mind.

  1. What are your long-term goals?

Attempt all workouts at the Rx for the 2018 Open – after 17.1 I got a reality check with the remainder of this past years Open workouts.

  1. What is your biggest achievement at CFB?

Getting over my reservations and joining was a big first step – happy with the consistency I’ve been able to maintain since.

  1. If there was a WOD named after you, what would it be?

30-20-10

Deadlifts

Push-Ups

200m Run
